About Me: My wife and I moved to Wartburg in summer of 2015 when she was hired as the head softball coach. Our first couple of years here I coached football and baseball. I now help my wife coach softball. Our love of sports extends to everything we do, including traveling. We have taken three international trips with the softball team, most recently spending 10 days in Germany and Amsterdam. We have been to 26 of the 30 MLB ballparks and hope to hit the rest very soon. On the rare off day we get we like to hang at home with our dog Bruce. He is four-year-old yellow lab. You might see him around the softball field, but he also likes to bark and make sure everyone knows he’s there so doesn’t do great in the dugout. Maybe some day!
What I Enjoy Most About Wartburg: What I love most about Wartburg hasn’t changed since the day we got here in August of 2015. Very simply, it is the community and the people at Wartburg that set us apart. Some people think that is just a small college thing, but I have worked at other small colleges and I can tell you it is not. The community at Wartburg is just different, and in a great way!
