Dr. Ryan Winters ‘03

Ryan Randall Winters, 43, of Denver, Colorado, formally of Iowa Falls, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024.

Ryan was born on September 5, 1980 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Randy and Dianna (Bahr) Winters. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School in the class of 1999. His academic and athletic accomplishments were vast in school, as one of the valedictorians of his class and championships in shot put and football. He had quite the competitive nature and love for the team. Ryan received his bachelor of science degree from Wartburg College and his doctorate from Regis University in Colorado. He then began his career as a physical therapist in the Denver area, where he has made his home for the last 18 years.

Ryan embraced a larger than life personality. He loved and lived hard. He found joy in the outdoors, good music, fitness, being a Broncos fan and most importantly his two little girls. Spending time with Piper and Bodhi became the highlight of his life, especially summers in the pool, visiting the zoo, attending church and daddy-daughter dancing their hearts out at recital time.
