Economics
Understand what drives people, businesses, and even entire countries to make the choices they do with an economics degree from Wartburg, where you can explore how resources are used, decisions are made, and those choices shape the world around us. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your problem-solving skills with tools from statistics and calculus while learning to think critically about real-world challenges.
We will help you open doors to careers in government, research, consulting, finance, banking, insurance, and beyond. Wartburg’s small class sizes mean you won’t just be another face in the crowd — you’ll work closely with professors who know your name, connect you with a network of professionals, and guide you through hands-on research.

The entire research process was a lot of fun, and Dr. (Nana) Quaicoe was there every step of the way to answer any questions that arose. At the conference, I got to listen to other students present their research and there was a lot of opportunities to network.”
