Jake Giddens is the Adjunct Instructor of Applied Guitar at Wartburg College. He received his BA in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 2023, specializing in jazz guitar. Jake has experience teaching guitar and electric bass to all ages and levels of experience. He has a particular interest in encouraging artistic exploration and self sufficiency, and has taught many styles and genres. In addition to technique and musicality, he shares repair and setup skills with his students. Jake can be seen performing locally and across state lines with a variety of groups, including Back Pocket, Almost Wizards, and Church of Tone. He lives in Cedar Falls with his many instruments, and is thrilled to guide students on their musical journey.
