PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH
It is my great pleasure to introduce the 18th president of Wartburg College — Dr. Rebecca Neiduski.
Dr. Neiduski comes to us from Elon University in Elon, N.C., where she is the dean of the School of Health Sciences. A unanimous choice by the presidential search committee and the Board of Regents, I am certain that her experience as an educator, leader, and innovator will help her successfully guide Wartburg into the future.
Her commitment to the conceptualization and execution of the Elon strategic plan will serve Wartburg well as we work toward the goals set forth in our new strategic plan. Dr. Neiduski also has been deeply involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, which continue to be an area of focus for Wartburg. She championed several DEI efforts at Elon, including monthly educational events that included topics ranging from building an inclusive syllabus to changing hiring and admissions practice to increase diversity across campus.
In addition to her teaching and administrative work, Dr. Neiduski has led several outreach experiences to Guatemala that enabled more than 80 students to gain hands-on experience in their field. Dr. Neiduski rose to the top of a very competitive group of candidates, and we are thrilled her path has led her to Wartburg. You can learn more about our 18th president by clicking the links below.
