What I Do:
When I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, I began my career working as a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) for Central Rivers Area Education Agency back in my hometown of Mason City. I worked with preschool through high school students with communication disorders. Upon getting married and moving to Parkersburg, I worked as a school-based SLP with preschool through high school students in Minnesota schools virtually. I loved the opportunity to get to help individuals communicate more effectively! I am now working in the higher education setting at Wartburg College with students to ensure accommodations are provided in the areas of academics/dining/housing to help students feel equipped to succeed in the classroom and on-campus. I look forward to continuing to build bonds with students at the college setting!

About Me: My husband and I live in Parkersburg with our daughter who was born in the fall of 2025. We enjoy being involved in our local church community, being outdoors on walks or by the lake, as well as spending time with our families. It is truly a joy getting to see the world through our daughter’s eyes as she experiences new things!
