More about Marissa Gustas
Hometown: Waverly, IA
High School: Waverly-Shell Rock
Educational Background:
B.A., Wartburg College, 2016
Major: Communication Arts – Organizational and Public Relations
Minors: Business and Leadership
Recruitment Area: I work with students from southern states of the country.
Fun Fact About Me: I spent a semester abroad living and going to school in Berlin, Germany! While I was there I spent my weekends traveling to other cities and countries in Europe. I continue to seek traveling just as much in the states – I love exploring and learning new things!
Favorite book: My favorite book is a mystery that you can see unfold with each page – too many to choose just one! Favorite quote: “Every thought we think and every word we speak is creating our future”
Hobbies/Interests: I am very active and use some of my free time working with clients as a personal trainer at The W. I love sports and am an assistant coach for the Wartburg tennis teams (the same team I played on for four years in college), spend my summers on the water wakeboarding, and enjoy being outdoors.
What do you enjoy most about Wartburg: There is such a big variety in opportunities at Wartburg that there is genuinely something for everyone. All you have to do is say ‘yes’!
