WHY WARTBURG: My visit was during Homecoming, and the students that I met and atmosphere sold me!

WHY WAS YOUR WARTBURG EXPERIENCE WORTH IT: I was able to explore talents and interests that I didn’t know that I had. It was well worth it.

HOW DID YOUR WARTBURG EXPERIENCE PREPARE YOU FOR LIFE AFTER COLLEGE:  Wartburg cultivates an optimistic spirit. Wartburg motivates you to be the change that you want to see in the world. I left Wartburg believing that I could make a difference.

HOW DO YOU STAY CONNECTED TO THE COLLEGE:  I have been a guest vocalist with the Knightlighters Jazz Band, and I have been back to speak. I have had several of my students graduate from Wartburg, and I enjoy returning for their ceremonies.

HOW DO YOU LIVE OUT THE WARTBURG MISSION: I am taking every opportunity to connect people with their potential. I live believing that there is something amazing within all of us that will bloom once we are given the chance.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR CURRENT STUDENTS: Take advantage of every opportunity put in front of you. Wartburg will change your life if you let it. Live in the moment! Every single second! HAVE FUN AND ENJOY COLLEGE!!!
