Dr. McCurley has taught at college level since 2010. During her time in higher education, she has served on many committees and performed many roles. Prior to higher education, she was a human resources manager and worked in real estate.
Before moving back to Iowa from Illinois, she served for many years on the Board of Summer Repertory Theater, performing marketing duties for their performances. She also served as the vice president of the Board of Directors for Our Market at The Plaza, a grocery store cooperative in Carlinville, Illinois.
