Fourteen members of the Wartburg College Concert Bands were selected to perform at the 2019 Iowa Intercollegiate Honor Band Festival in Nevada, Iowa, Nov. 22-23.

A total of 100 musicians from 16 Iowa colleges and universities will participate in the festival, which concludes with a concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. This event is presented as part of the Iowa Music Educators Conference.

Those selected are:
Mallory Laube, flute, a junior music education and music therapy major from Dike.
Greta Christianson, bassoon, a junior music therapy major from Shawnee, Kan.
Bethany Zenk, clarinet, a junior music education major from New Hampton.
Brianna Schares, bass clarinet, a senior psychology major from Gilbertville.
Nathan Huff, alto sax, a senior music education major from Grimes.
John Hoehn, tenor sax, a junior music therapy major from Waseca, Minn.
Trevor Krug, baritone saxophone, a senior history education major from Dysart.
Logan Merley, French horn, a senior music education major from Sheldon.
Weston Krug, French horn, a senior music education major from Dysart.
Carlee Bertram, trumpet, a junior music education major from Hampton.
Spencer Dodgen, trombone, a junior biochemistry major from Story City.
Jared Knapp, bass trombone, a sophomore music education major from Humboldt.
Garrett Arensdorf, tuba, a senior music education major from Asbury.
Jamie Flanegan, percussion, a senior music education major from West Branch.
