The Wartburg College Wind Ensemble will perform its final home concert of the season Sunday, April 15, in Neumann Auditorium. The concert is a preview of the band’s upcoming four-state spring tour.

The concert will begin at 2 p.m. Repertoire will include “American Overture for Bands” by J.W. Jenkins, “Rolling Thunder” by Henry Fillmore and “Gallant Seventh” by John Philip Sousa. The band also will play “Raging Machines” by Brian Balmages and “Hands of Mercy” by Julie Giroux.

“There will be music for everyone at this concert. We’ll have hands clapping, feet tapping and hopefully even a few tears along the way,” said Craig Hancock, director of bands and professor of music.

A freewill donation will be accepted to support student scholarships and future music ensemble tours.
