During academic year 2008-2009, Wartburg College is celebrating the Year of Mission with a series of special events, symposia and convocations recognizing the four pillars of a Wartburg education—leadership, service, faith and learning.

The Year of Mission highlights the work of Commission on Mission, a comprehensive planning effort involving faculty, staff, students, and alumni.  The four task forces of Commission on Mission will present recommendations to the Wartburg Board of Regents in October 2009 that will shape the College’s future.

Many events are already scheduled, but other events will be announced throughout the year.
