Hamm Platz is the plaza located in the center of a circular drive east of Neumann Auditorium. The name recognizes a gift from Dr. William Hamm '66 of Washington, D.C., in memory of his parents. Dr. Hamm is president of the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE) and former president of Waldorf College. Seven rectangular columns on the plaza commemorate the locations of Wartburg throughout its history.
