Originally built as the college gymnasium in 1920, Players
Theatre later became a classroom and theatre facility.
At one point KWAR-FM
headquarters were located in Players Theatre, and college
chapel services were held there. During the 1990-91 academic
year, it served as temporary headquarters for the art department
after the Art Building was razed to make room for the Fine
Arts Center.
During construction
of the Vogel Library, Players Theatre housed the library's
reference collection and service areas. It was used as a science
teaching space during the construction of the Science Center
in 2002-03 and 2003-04. |
