Post-Graduate Service
Many Wartburg alumni decide to be full-time volunteers after graduation. Click on the link above to learn more about these opportunities, including AmeriCorps, Public Allies, Peace Corps, City Year, Teach for America, Lutheran Volunteer Corps, ELCA Global Mission, Urban Servant Corps and Latreia.

Corporation for National and Community Service
The Corporation for National and Community Service was formed to engage Americans of all ages and backgrounds in service to meet community needs. Each year, more than 1.5 million individuals of all ages and backgrounds help meet local needs through a wide array of service opportunities. These include projects in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security and other critical areas through the Corporation's three major programs: Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America.

Idealist On Campus/Idealist: Action Without Borders
IdealistOnCampus.org is the online home of the Idealist On Campus program of Action Without Borders. The website offers resources, events, educational tools, networking opportunities and other programs to support students, campus staff and administrators, alumni, and community members who are making the world a better place through service, activism, advocacy, political engagement, and socially responsible work. The websites also contain a large database of volunteer, internship and job opportunities throughout the US and world.

USA Freedom Corps
President Bush created USA Freedom Corps (USAFC) to build on the countless acts of service, sacrifice, and generosity that followed September 11th. The website contains resources for volunteers, organizations, educators and even a national volunteer database.

Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley
The primary role of VCCV is to bring people and community needs together through a range of programs and services. Their website also includes an online database powered by 1-800-Volunteer.org.

1-800-Volunteer.org
1-800-Volunteer.org is a national database that connects non-profits and volunteers. Their website contains resources about volunteering, locating organizations and even volunteer centers.

Volunteer Match
Volunteer Match is a website that provides many resources to its members including a searchable database of volunteer opportunities nationwide, email alerts, referral history, volunteer résumé builder and subscription to a volunteer newsletter.
