Lofts are allowed in Centennial Complex
|
The Complex consists of three structurally connected buildings
(Centennial, Volmer, and Hebron Hall). Most rooms are doubles;
however, three- and four-person rooms are available. Each
four-story hall has its own central lounge, kitchen, recreation
room, and laundry facilities.
Social and recreational activities
are planned by floor as well as by the Hall Council. Centennial
Hall houses 112 women; Hebron Hall houses 143 men; Vollmer
Hall houses 134 women. The top floors are designated as substance
free floors.
The Complex has coin-operated
laundry facilities, lounges, vending machines, recreation
rooms with cable TV, and kitchenettes. Telephone service is
provided in each student room, although students need to furnish
their own phones. Residents gain evening access to their buildings
by using card swipe locks at designated entrances. Student rooms are furnished
with desks, chairs, dressers, closets, single beds, and window
blinds. The building has centrally located bathroom facilities
that are shared with other floor residents. All rooms have
high-speed Internet and cable. |
