The Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, Inc.
is an association of BSW Program Administrators, Faculty, Field Directors,
and others dedicated to the promotion of excellence in baccalaureate
social work education.
Council
on Social Work Education
CSWE is a national association that preserves and enhances the quality
of social work education for practice that promotes the goals of individual
and community well-being and social justice. CSWE pursues this mission
through setting and maintaining policy and program standards, accrediting
bachelor's and master's degree programs in social work, promoting research
and faculty development, and advocating for social work education.
Iowa
Board of Social Work Examiners
The Iowa Board of Social Work Examiners evaluates the qualifications
of applicants for licensure and grants licenses to those who qualify.
The Board establishes rules and regulations to ensure the integrity
and competence of licensed Social Workers and investigates complaints
for unprofessional conduct. The Board is the link between the consumer
and the licensed Social Work and, as such, promotes the public health,
welfare and safety.
National
Association of Social Workers
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership
organization of professional social workers in the world, with 153,000
members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development
of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to
advance sound social policies.
