Chris serves as strategic counsel for the vice president of advancement and generates campaign and marketing approach ideas for the institution’s marketing and communication needs. He is an account executive and manages the Marketing & Communication staff and the Digital Print Center staff. Chris also provides leadership and vision for the college’s online marketing.

Specifically, his responsibilities include:

  • Serve as primary adviser to the vice president of advancement on a variety of issues, including marketing strategy, communication vehicles, new media campaigns, brand development and personnel management.
  • Direct the work of the marketing and communication staff.
  • Meet with approximately 25 campus clients on a regular basis to strategize about communication goals, costs, deadlines.
  • Lead multiple initiatives to streamline production of print and online materials to reduce costs and increase exposure to key constituencies.
  • Manage hundreds of marketing projects (print and electronic), ensuring all materials are produced on time, on budget, and with excellent quality.
  • Provide leadership and vision for the college’s Web presence, assisting in both hands-on and supervision of development and maintenance. Also assisted with strategic planning for overall college digital media marketing.
  • Provide oversight, support, and guidance to others involved with new media implementation; monitor analytics, pilot concepts and advise others on how it can be utilized effectively.
  • Serve as the web accessibility coordinator for the campus.
