Hello!  My name is Abby Blake, and I am a fourth year studying biology and environmental science, and someday I want to go to graduate school for ecology or conservation of natural resources.  I am from a tiny town in Minnesota called Mora.  I am involved in ambassadors, the sustainability office, and I am an SI for BI 151.  I enjoy running and spending time outdoors.  In my spare time I read and visit with friends, family, and my dog Agnes.  I look forward to working with you in the WRSL.  Please come visit!

Hello! My name is Laura and I am a fourth year this year. My major is Elementary Education and I have an endorsement in Mathematics.  During the year I keep myself busy through being on the Orientation Staff, working at the Library, and here in the WRSL!  Also, I'm enjoying taking a photography class this semester.  I love watching movies, meeting new people, and being helpful!

Hi! I’m Jessica. I am a third year, double majoring in writing and communication arts—public relations to be exact. I am president of the forensics (speech) team here at Wartburg. Last year, I represented Iowa at a national persuasive tournament. Oh, I love dogs, hedgehogs and sheep.

Nicole Hanson

Hi!  My name is Nicole Hanson and I am a fourth year majoring in religion with a pre-seminary concentration and a writing minor.  I studied at Wartburg West last year and worked with a Latino Lutheran congregation.  I enjoy writing research papers (really!), and in my free time I help lead a Eucharist band, Wartburg Embracing Bremwood, and Knitting Knights.  I look forward to seeing you all!

Hi, my name is Megan Jorgensen and I am a fourth year majoring in History and Peace & Justice with an emphasis on Environmental Studies. In the future I hope to attend Environmental Law School and study Natural Resources Law. On campus I am involved in band, am a part of the Knightliters Jazz band, and am a member of the History honor society. I love to run, spend time doing outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, and I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I look forward to starting the 2013-2014 school year!

Hi everyone! I'm Kamryn Kronschnabel, a third year from La Porte City, Iowa, who's working on an English-Spanish double-major with a Communication Arts minor. This year I'm in the Wartburg College Concert Bands and Wartburg Choir, and I also work as the co-editor for Wartburg's biannual literary magazine, The Castle. I've been to Europe, Central America, and Southeastern Asia, but when I'm at home I love to read, write, and bake cookies. I love working with new people, so feel free to come visit me anytime!

In my free time I like to spend time outside playing sports or just hanging and I like to spend time with friends and family. Hello! My name is Brenna Nordeng. I am a third year Chemistry major and Math minor from Rose Creek, Minnesota. I plan on going to Med school and hope to one day be a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. I can be found in a practice room playing piano and flute or anywhere that I can knit. I love theatre and writing and am also a member of Kantorei. I cannot wait to see you in the WRSL.

Hello everyone! My name is Amy Prestholt, I am a second year from Manly, IA majoring in English and Secondary Education. My favorite part about Wartburg would be the awesome people, but I also love all of the classes offered through the English department. On campus I have been involved in Student Senate, St. Elizabeth Chorale, Psalm 149 dance troupe, Homecoming Committee, and Wartburg Association of Student Educators (WASE). I am Molly Schares, a third year here at Wartburg.  I am majoring in Business Administration with minors in both Communication Arts and Leadership.  On campus I work in Admissions as well as the WRSL, and I am in the Wartburg College Concert Bands. I am also very passionate about a student organization I am in, Water to Thrive.  I love the ocean, traveling, curling up and watching a movie, and PEOPLE.  Goodness, do I love people! I am a junior, majoring in Business Administration and Economics and I have a minor in Accounting. I enjoy reading, dancing, debate and public speaking, swimming and tennis. I also love travelling; I’ve been to 12 different countries and I speak a little Italian (I used to speak French too). I also think I am funny (or not). Hello, I'm Amara Thein! I'm a fourth year studying writing and minoring in public relations, communication design, and literature. In addition to my astounding job as consultant in the WRSL, I’m also a co-editor for The Castle and the editor for the op-ed page of The Trumpet. My joys in life include spending time with my friends and family, reading, writing, watching awesome fantasy-based shows on Netflix, and doing crafty Pinterest things. Exploring the world is a major desire; I’ve spent May terms in France and England, and I’m thrilled to be ending my senior year abroad in Galway, Ireland during winter term! I’d love to help you out anyway I can, and I can’t wait to see you in the WRSL!
