How to Make an Appointment
1. Use the sign-up
sheet posted on the bulletin board across from
the elevator on the third floor of the Vogel Library or
on the WRSL door when the lab is open. This allows you
to reserve a specific time on a specific day, and it even
allows you to see the consultant of your choice
OR
2. Make a
reservation by phone (ext. 8615 or ext.
8552) during office hours
Appointments are the surest
way to guarantee service, but walk-in conferences are also
provided if time is available.
What to Bring

The instructor's
assignment sheet (and grading criteria if available)
-
All drafts
of the paper, speech, or text you wish to discuss
-
A second
copy of the most recent draft, for the consultant's use
-
The due
date of the assignment
The earlier
you come to the Writing, Reading, Speaking Lab after receiving
an assignment, the more help we can provide.
