Grants
Federal grants are awarded by the Federal Government based
on financial need. Institutional grants are awarded by
the university, usually based on specific criteria (i.e.,
need, academics, etc). Private grants are sponsored by
private organizations and are usually awarded in specific
areas or to specific types of students.
Financial Aid Forms
Application for financial aid is not automatic. If you need
assistance, make sure you obtain the proper application
forms as early as possible. Deadlines for financial aid
applications often come as early as the January preceding
your expected enrollment date. You want to apply as early
as possible, late application could greatly reduce your
chances financial aid.
As with other forms, these

(GAPSFAS) for determining financial aid distribution.
