Parents Council Helps With...

Move-In Day
Each fall, moms, dads, and students pack up half of the house and move it to Wartburg College. Parents Council members are on campus to help with refreshments, directions, and information or to offer a seat and a tissue. Council members also host a Parents Panel, answering questions and offering advice based on their own experience.

Family Weekend
Visit your student on campus during a fall weekend that offers athletic, cultural, and informational activities for the entire family. For many, this is the first opportunity to see their student since the semester began.

Wartburg Advocates
Parents Council members promote the Wartburg Advocates programs within their communities. They discuss Wartburg with high school students and parents in their churches and community organizations.

Meetings
The council gathers on campus twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring, to plan the year’s activities.
