Learn
to be a broadcaster
Students learn about television, radio, and
the business of broadcasting. They do live broadcasts on Wartburg
radio 89.9 KWAR-FM and Wartburg Television/WTV8 and use Wartburg's

The summer workshop also includes
tours of professional radio and TV facilities, meetings with
area media professionals, and activities to help students
develop the skills needed to get ahead in this exciting profession. Click

Housing

Students attending the workshop stay in the Wartburg College
dorms. The cost of housing is covered with the registration
costs. Wartburg upper class student counselors work with teams
of high schools students to help them develop their skills.
Space is Limited
Participation in the
workshop is limited to the 40 best high school students around
(20 each week). Spots will be awarded by merit, but preference
will be given to early applicants.
