Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of Calgary with a B. Mus. in music theory. He earned a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of British Columbia writing his dissertation on music and text relationships in Debussy and Mallarme.  He has presented at various conferences in North America, including the national meetings of the American Musicological Society and the Canadian University Music Society.  He taught at the University of British Columbia before coming to Wartburg and will be teaching core courses in music theory and history.
