from Wartburg
I lost touch with Wartburg for a number of years.
I reconnected with the college when President Ohle and Fred Hagemann
(’67) approached me about serving on the Board of Regents.
Today, I feel very strongly about Wartburg College;
I believe much of my success is attributed to my Wartburg College
experience. I say “experience,” not “education,”
because the experience had much more of an impact. I graduated
form high school in northwest Iowa, and there were 15 people in
my graduating class. Wartburg was perfect for me and prepared
me for what came next. The opportunity to attend a small college
is a wonderful experience for those who choose it.
