Classroom Availability

LIBRARY ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR MEETINGS

Library classrooms  on the second floor are reserved for information literacy instruction.  They can occasionally be scheduled for other purposes, such as class presentation and SI sessions, with the understanding that the reservation will be canceled if the rooms are needed for information literacy classes.  Call 8506 to talk to a librarian about these rooms, and leave a message if a librarian in not available.  Please included in your message the name and course number of the class, the instructor, exact times needed, your name and phone number.  These rooms are equipped with computer, projector, VCR, DVD, cable, and white boards.  Mirrors in the room can be used as well for practicing speeches.

Rooms 353 on the third floor can be scheduled for meetings.  The room holds 10 people. For reserving this room call Amy Dougherty at 8286 or email amy.dougherty.  These rooms have no equipment.

Other third-floor rooms are available on a first-come, first-served use, but cannot be reserved.

Curriculum Classroom on the first floor is equipped with 13 Macintosh computers, projector, DVD, VCR, and white board.  A calendar of the listed classes for the term that use the classroom is posted outside of the classroom.  Additionally, full-class reservations can be made with a librarian at 8506.

Other equipment and podium: If you need equipment not provided in the rooms, plan to bring it with you.  The library does not have a podium.

Viewing rooms on the first floor cannot be reserved but they are equipped with a TV, VCR, and DVD player.

Food and drink:  You may serve food and beverages in these rooms, but users are responsible for clean-up.  You must leave rooms in the condition in which you found them.
