  • Crash Course in Copyright offers helpful information on fair use and copyright practices.
  • Copyown is a resource on copyright ownership for the higher education community.

  • Ohio State University Office of Faculty and TA Development The section "Readings on Teaching" has many helpful links.
  • State Video Collection - Educational videos previously available from the State Library in Des Moines. Titles can be accessed at http://medianet.aea10.k12.ia.us/svc/ - then select Search Full Catalog. Enter topic or title. Limit by audience, year of production, or currency of acquisition. Talk to Librarians Karen Lehmann or Jeanette Gerrietts if you'd like to borrow free titles, which may be kept for 3 days.
  • Plagiarism:

    • Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at the University of Albany provides tips to educate students and teachers about plagiarism, definitions, and strategies for avoiding plagiarism.
    • Helping Students Avoid Plagiarism links to the University of Maryland's College Effective Writing Program giving tips and general guidelines on plagiarism resources.
    • Links to Statements on Plagiarism is maintained by Southern University of Illinois-Carbondale Department of History. The site provides links to statement concerning plagiarism by the American Historical Association, MLA, and the APA.
    • Plagiarism.org is an online resource for detecting plagiarism designed by educators at the University of California-Berkeley.
    • Turnitin.com is a resource for faculty members to use to teach plagiarism or help students find plagiarism in their papers. An account is needed.
