The following items are completed while a Wartburg student, but need not be completed in this order

_____ Complete LS115: Exploring Elements of Leadership

_____ Develop the individualized LCP plan (usually completed in the LS115 course)

_____ Review your individualized plan with your advisor and a faculty member of the Institute for Leadership Education

_____ Complete group work component and student journal written in conjunction with the group work

_____ Complete diversity and difference component and prepare reflection paper

_____ Complete service component and prepare reflection paper

_____ Complete one course within your major that includes a leadership component and prepare reflection paper

_____ Complete one course outside your major that includes a leadership component and prepare reflection paper

_____ Complete one course inside or outside your major that includes a leadership component and prepare reflection paper

_____ ID315: Leadership Theories and Practice (taken in the 3rd or 4th year)

_____ LS405: Leadership Certificate Summary Seminar (optional – in most cases taken in the 4th year)

Final three activities

_____ Complete leadership resume and summary reflection paper

_____ Prepare portfolio for submission

_____ Submit portfolio to the Director of the Institute for Leadership Education by May 1 for Spring Graduation and December 1 for Winter Graduation
