Associate Vice President for Computing and
Telecommunications Systems, Northern Illinois University
Tuecke
is the fifth leading scorer, 1,403 points, and second
leading rebounder, 982, in Wartburg men's basketball
history. He played on two Iowa Conference championship
teams, 1959 and 1960, and was named to the AlI¬HAC
first team both seasons.
A four-year
letterwinner, he led the Knights to the NCAA post-season
tournament all four seasons.
He
earned his master's degree at Kansas State and did
further postgraduate study at the University of Nebraska.
He taught at Wartburg one year, 1965, and then joined
the State University of New York system as assistant
director for academic services in the computer center.
He has been at Northern Illinois since 1981.
