Wartburg playing softball, women’s basketball, and volleyball during her career. Her greatest renown was in softball where she was all-Iowa Conference in 1994 and 1996 and the team Most Valuable Player in 1996. She hit .300 or better in two of her four years and recorded a high-water mark of 28 RBIs in 1994 while playing on a team that finished 29-14. Posekany garnered a combined eight letters in her three sports.
