Gary Ludvigsen ' 67

A three-year starter in men's basketball and baseball, Ludvigsen was team captain and earned the Best Defensive Player award in men's basketball during the 1966-67 season. He played on three winning baseball squads for long-time coach Earnie Opperman and ended his career with a .251 batting average. A former Hertel two-sport athlete award winner, Ludvigsen resides in Owensboro, Ken., where he is human resources manager for Flour Signature Services.
