Robert “Bud” Johnson
Johnson’s claim to fame was earned on the hardwood, where he played on two 20-plus win men’s basketball teams for head coach Lewis “Buzz” Levick. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 1975 and 1976 and was the Iowa Conference’s MVP in 1974-75.
A three-year letter-winner, he earned two USA All-American Lutheran team awards and is ranked among the college’s top all-time rebounders. He resides in Monticello, Iowa, where he owns Minneapolis Tex Citrus Company. |
