Coach Norm Johansen

Johansen led the Knights football and wrestling programs to four Iowa Conference championships. His football teams won league crowns in 1958 and 1959, and his wrestling teams took conference titles in 1954 and 1960. The 1958 gridiron unit was the first undefeated football team in college history. Johansen concluded his coaching career with a 53-54-1 record in football. His 54-45-2 record in wrestling included 13 individual conference champions. He is retired and resides in Mesa, Ariz.
