A four-sport star, Fallon was a three-time letterwinner in football and track and earned one letter apiece in basketball and baseball. Among his numerous achievements, he captained the 1947 football team, was awarded the Tofte Award as the outstanding athlete at Wartburg in 1948, and held presidency in the “W” Club and Chi Rho for pre-theology majors in 1947 and 1948. Fallon later went to a career as the campus pastor for Kansas State University of Manhattan, Kan., and was awarded Wartburg’s Alumni Citation Award.
