Matt Ellis ’81

Ellis was a three-time team Most Valuable Player in men’s basketball and was first team all-conference and third team All-American in 1980-81. He is the only player in Wartburg history to score over 500 points and pull down 300 rebounds in one season. He finished his career ranked in the top 10 in scoring (fourth) and rebounding (sixth) and is second in points per game (18.5).
