Dr. Don Canfield, posthumous

The longest-serving head football coach in Wartburg history led the Knights to two Iowa Conference championships in 1982 and 1983 and the college’s first NCAA Division III playoff appearance. His record was 97-71-1. He died in May 1996 while serving as head football coach at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.
