Students work with the Urban Life Center, an organization that has been
using Chicago for unique classroom experiences for over 20 years. Students
work closely with an urban pastor and experience the life and ministry
of one congregation while doing service work at a homeless shelter,
a Boys and Girls Club, and a soup kitchen.

Students will visit and/or volunteer in ministries such as homeless
shelters, house-building ministries, ministries with "street kids,"
food banks, and other social action agencies. They will visit and worship
in a variety of multicultural church settings. Students also spend time
exploring the inner-city environment.
