Tuition
Exchange Programs for Imports to Wartburg
Procedures for employees from other institutions.
Note: Dependants
of Wartburg College employees are considered “Exports from
Wartburg College” for these tuition exchange benefit programs.
Program details and application materials can be found in the Wartburg
College human resources department.
1) ELCA Exchange, 2) Tuition Exchange, Inc, 3) Iowa
College Foundation Exchange and 4) Wilhelm Loehe Scholarship
Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa participates in
ELCA Tuition Exchange, Tuition Exchange, Inc., the Wilhelm Loehe
Scholarship in conjunction with the Wartburg Seminary and has an
arrangement with the Iowa College Foundation for partial tuition
remission. Dependent children of faculty and staff, who are employed
at an institution participating in the exchange programs mentioned
above and who meet eligibility requirements at the home institution,
may apply for tuition exchange at Wartburg College. Plan Ahead!
Priority consideration is given to applicants with complete certification
and application materials received by Wartburg College no later
than January 15th. Spaces are limited and are awarded on a competitive
basis.
Application Process:
1. Apply
for admission at Wartburg College by January 15th.
2. Obtain certification from your home institution
or organization.
3. Complete a FAFSA. It is required for exchange
recipients. It is also possible that a financial aid offer may make
it financially possible to attend Wartburg College if a space in
the exchange program(s) is not available. The combination of tuition-based
grants and scholarships shall not exceed total tuition charges.
Applicants will be notified as soon
as February 15th.
