Dr. Daniel BlackĀ Dr. Black has all of his degrees in aerospace engineering and has a wealth of experience in engineering and education. From 1983-85 he assisted in balance calibration, development of opto-electronic data acquisition systems, and flight test engineering for the McDonnell Aircraft Company. From 1986-87 he served as a laboratory engineer for McDonnell, conducting research in improved wind tunnel technology and methods. In the late 1980s and early 90s he developed computational methods for the prediction of separated flow past airfoils and helped develop a mathematical/statistical theory of turbulence as a research assistant at Iowa State University. He has taught in higher education institutions since 1991. |

Dr. LeAnn Faidley Prior to coming to Wartburg, Dr. Faidley was an assistant professor in the mechanical engineering department at Iowa State University. Her degrees are all in mechanical engineering. |
