Denver Metro and The Front Range

Faculty Sponsors: Revs. Nelson & Bonita Bock

Book published in November 2007 by LifeVest Publishing

Writing a book has always been on the mind of Matt Popowski. While enrolled in the Wartburg West program, he made that dream a reality. As evidenced by the title, his book serves as a universal guide to the Denver Metro area as well as the adjacent mountain range. Popowski had to gather an incredible amount of information and because of the constraints of the term, had a limited time to do so. His work mainly focused on Internet research of restaurants, bars and other forms of entertainment. He also took time to visit a few of the places with other Wartburg West students to get a first-hand experience at the facilities. The book also contains amusement parks, museums, ice rinks, bowling alleys and various festivals. It is scheduled for release in November 2007.
