If you major in French, German, or Spanish, you’ll become an effective communicator, both in English and in the target language. In-depth study of another culture and living abroad for an extended period of time will give you insight into how other cultures view the world, as well as a better understanding of American culture.

Your language proficiency will be complimented by an interdisciplinary outlook if you major in French studies, German studies, or Spanish studies. You’ll gain this perspective through courses in history, political science, economics, and business administration.

At Wartburg College, you’ll get practical experience as part of your English and modern languages curriculum.
