Board / Meal Options

Wartburg Dining Services offers 20 meals per week. This includes three meals per day, excluding Sunday breakfast. Board prices are based on a historical participation rate. On-campus students must participate in a board plan. Various meal plans are available, depending on academic classification.

Returning Students have the option of switching plans only during the first week of each term. Meal waivers may be requested any time during the academic year.

All Pick Plans are a combination of the traditional board plan and a Points account. Your Points account can be used to purchase food items in the Den-Rittersaal, Mensa, Konditorei, and Zesty Orange.

By stopping in the Dining Services Office, students can sign up for an off campus meal plan.

Meal Transfer
Board Plan meals may be transferred to the Den-Rittersaal or the Konditorei.
Sign up one day in advance in the location of your choice.

Den-Rittersaal Monday-Friday
10:15-11:15 a.m.
1:15-3 p.m.
6:30-10:30 p.m.

Konditorei Monday-Friday
10:30-11:30 a.m.
12:45-1:15 p.m.
Monday-Thursday
5:30-8:30 p.m.

This meal transfer offers pre-determined menu selections in each location as an alternative to the Mensa selections that day.

Sack Meals
There is no need to miss a meal. A sack meal is available for students who have a class conflict or work obligation during the meal period. Present your Wartburg ID between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Mensa, Monday through Friday. For weekend meals, make prior arrangements with the Dining Services Office. Groups and organizations requesting sack meal exchanges must make arrangements with the Dining Services Office.

Sick Sack
For students who are ill, a sick sack is available Monday-Friday from 6:30 -10 a.m. in Mensa. Have the Noah Campus Health Clinic or your RA or RHD sign a sick sack form available in their offices. Present the signed form to the cashier.

Picnics & Special Meals
If your floor, club, or organization would like to have a special meal or picnic, contact Dining Services at least two weeks in advance at 8303.

Picnics are available Monday through Friday in exchange for the evening meal. Click here for picnic menu options.

Method of Payment
1. Meal transfer; no charge to on board student.
2. Purchase through Dining Services in advance for $5 per person.

*There is a $50 refundable deposit required for use of coolers, utensils, etc. if your organization does not have an account in the Controller's Office.

When placing an order, please indicate which organization needs to be billed as well as the 12 digit account number of the organization.
