Special Resources

Special endowed funds may be designated to support faculty positions. An endowed gift supporting a faculty position will: Assist the College in recruiting and retaining superior faculty Enrich the academic program through scholarship and teaching Provide funding for professional development and special projects related to the purpose of the position Support undergraduate research related to the purposes of the gift.
The gifts for these positions may be one of the following:
Endowed Professor	$500,000 or more to support a faculty position named in recognition of the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor
Distinguished Professor	$1,000,000 or more to establish a Distinguished Professor named in recognition of the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor
Endowed Chair	$1,500,000 or more to establish an Endowed Chair named in recognition of the donor or someone the donor wishes to recognize
Distinguished Endowed Chair	$2,000,000 or more to establish a Distinguished Endowed Chair named in recognition of the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor
