STUDENT PROFILE

Name: Patrick
Major: Business Administration
Hometown: LaPorte City

What does "be orange" mean to you?
To me "being orange" means being able to express myself; being able to show the real me and not being ashamed of who I am. This is everything this campus stands for.

Why did you decide to attend Wartburg?
When I walked onto this campus for the first time I could feel a sense of magic and a feeling that my dreams and aspirations could be accomplished here. I did not get that feeling anywhere else I went to visit.

What has been a highlight of your Wartburg experience?
I would have to say the biggest highlight for me thus far would be meeting so many different people from all over the United States and around the world. Listening to them talk about their lives back home makes me want to know more. I find it quite fascinating that a lot of Wartburg students are from all around the world.

Patrick
I came from a small high school and didn't get the opportunity to talk to many students from other countries and cultures. I have learned so much about the rest of the world from the people at Wartburg College and I have a better understanding of others cultures and beliefs.
