What do you enjoy most
about working at Wartburg?
I love the challenge of working with dedicated, talented students.
Their enthusiasm for learning keeps me striving to be a better
teacher and to find new ways of expanding what we both know.
What does "be
orange" mean to you?
It is the heritage of a castle in Germany combined with the vision
of a college in Iowa, the tradition of a strong sense of values,
and the challenge of an active community of learners.
Memorable Moments
It is impossible to forget the faces of students who perform in
the Great Hall of the castle in Eisenach or who step on to the
great stages of the world as part of the college’s
touring ensembles. The memories that these students share
are the sort of experiences that color their whole lives.
