Partners in Covenant: EPIC
An ELCA Matching Grant Program
ELCA Congregations: EPIC is a Congregational Matching Grant Program. Wartburg College will match congregational gifts up to $750 per academic year per student.
Who can qualify? Any full-time student who is a confirmed member of a participating ELCA congregation.
How do congregations enroll in EPIC? Fill out the enrollment form and send it to the Church Relations Office, Wartburg College, P.O. Box 1003, Waverly, IA 50677-0903. Enrollment forms are available from the Church Relations Office at Wartburg College by calling 319-352-8217 or 1-800-772-2085 ext. 8217.
Note to church leaders and parents: Help your ELCA congregation support young adults as they pursue their education at a Lutheran college or university by starting or supporting a congregational scholarship program. If you would like some ideas on how to do this, contact Rev. Ramona Bouzard, Director of Church Relations, or Ben Stadler-Ammon, Assistant Director of Outreach Programs, Wartburg College.

EPIC
is a cooperative venture between congregations of the three
Iowa synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
in Iowa and their colleges: Grand View, Luther, Waldorf,
and Wartburg. These colleges were founded by the church
to be the Church in Education. They exist in mission to
prepare young men and women for taking their education into
society. |

Strong
ties to the church
Wartburg College
is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The
strong relationship between the two organizations continues to
provide beneficial opportunities for students.
The Pool
of Remembrance
More than 300 stones from locations
across the United States and around the world fill the Pool of
Remembrance on the west side of the Wartburg Chapel. Sent by congregations
and institutions, the stones signify the important link between
the college and the people who provide Wartburg with students
and support its mission with their prayers and gifts.
