Steps to completing your Academic Record
1. Obtain your current cumulative grade point average
2. List all courses you will complete by graduation (course titles may be abbreviated)
3. Indicate or separately list courses taken from other colleges (see sample)
4. Categorize course work under your major areas of study (see example)

The following Wartburg courses are valued at four (4) semester hours:

Biology All full credit courses
Chemistry All courses; (except 206, 240, 311, 312)
Education Student teaching course credits = 4 semester hours each
Elementary (4 credits) = 16 semester hours
Music (3 credits) = 12 semester hours
Secondary (2.5 credits) = 10 semester hours

Credit Conversion
To complete the academic record form for your credential file it is necessary to convert course credits earned at Wartburg to standard semester hours for employer comprehension.

Credit equivalencies:
1/4 course = 1 semester hour
1/2 course = 2 semester hours
1 course = 3 1/2 semester hours
