On-campus worship
is openly ecumenical within a Lutheran perspective and welcomes
all students. Services feature a variety of worship formats planned by a worship committee that includes students, college organist, and campus pastors.
Weekday Chapel, 10:15-10:35
a.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Wartburg Chapel
A 20-minute
opportunity for worship and reflection. Senior students,
faculty, staff, and pastors lead chapels.
Midweek Eucharist, Wednesday,
9:30 p.m., Wartburg Chapel
Gather with friends for a lively celebration of God’s grace around the communion table. You never know what to expect - drama, dance, evening prayer, camp songs, or request nights. Eucharist is a time for enthusiastic singing, quiet reflection, shared prayer and personal faith renewal. Eucharist is led and planned by students and messages are most often given by students or student groups.
The Gate: Once per Month, 7 p.m. Locations Vary
The Gate is a “contemporary” worship experience with plenty of upbeat music. The Gate is planned and organized by a variety of student leaders.
