President's Message
Wartburg is a place that
opens doors for students. Thresholds of learning and opportunity make
the college years an exciting time in our students' lives. Equally exciting
is this time for Wartburg College. Wartburg stands at its own threshold
of opportunity. As we celebrate our Sesquicentennial year, we prepare
to open new doors that remain true to Wartburg's values and goals.
"Wartburg is dedicated to challenging and nurturing students for lives of leadership and service as a spirited expression of their faith and learning." This mission is the foundation upon which we have designed a purposeful future for Wartburg's advancement– Campaign Wartburg. Few colleges and universities in this part of the country have had an opportunity to celebrate a Sesquicentennial, and fewer are more prepared than Wartburg to control their own destiny.
As our students' time at Wartburg
represents a springboard to new paths and possibilities for them, so is
our 150th anniversary a springboard for Wartburg College. Please join
us as together we celebrate our proud and distinguished past and create
an exceptional and purposeful future.
