ENDOWMENT
No single factor is more critical to the future growth and financial strength of Wartburg College than to increase its endowment. Wartburg has set a goal to increase the endowment from $37 million to $50 million within five years and to $100 million by 2010. Endowment growth will increase financial aid for students and provide funding for faculty chair positions, sabbaticals, research funds, and workshops. It will also expand Wartburg's honors program, global and multicultural study opportunities, minority graduate student assistantships, technology enhancements, and service learning.

ANNUAL FUND
Annual Fund gifts help underwrite the operating budget of the college. These gifts allow Wartburg to keep tuition affordable. Annual fund dollars help to maintain quality facilities, recruit and retain a strong faculty and staff, and provide financial aid for deserving students. Wartburg relies the Annual Fund to maintain its margin of excellence in providing current students a distinctive educational experience. The Annual Fund enhances every aspect of the college.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
Other areas to benefit from renovation or improvements are the maintenance facility, residence halls, offices and academic areas, and classroom technology.
